Jaybird
Day is an annual event to honor our "old-timers." Held at
The Company headquarters and museum on the first Saturday in
October, it is one of our most popular events.
The day starts with coffee and donuts as friends from all over gather
to renew acquaintances. At noon the jam session starts with plenty of
food and beverages available to keep everyone's strength up.
Around
3:00 the crowd moves into The Company meeting hall where tribute is
paid to this year's Honored Jaybirds and door prizes are awarded. Then,
more jamming until a buffet supper is served in the early evening.
This is a great social occasion and an opportunity to thank our old-timers
for their contribution to drum corps over the years.
Remember...this is a day for the old-timers. Please, no young children!
