21st Grey Coats Batallion Fife & Drum Corps

The 21st Grey Coat Batallion Fife & Drum Corps was founded in 2000 in Basel, Switzerland. Currently the corps has 15 members between the age of 20 and 30, all of whom have grown up with the local Fasnacht tradition. Our 'grey coat' approximates the style of uniform worn during the colonial campaign.

Still in the process of defining our own musical style, our repertoire is in part oriented towards traditional military literature, especially in regard to our presentation which features precision marching; further, our repertoire also includes ancient style standards as well as newly compiled and arranged medleys.

A first trip to the US and the Deep River Ancient Muster is scheduled for July 2004.
