The Yalesville Sr. Ancient FDC consists of 22 adults,
including a drum major, color guard and musicians. The fifers and
drummers play the music of traditional Colonial America. A marching
cadence of 110 beats per minute is maintained to replicate the pace
of the Colonial troops.
The corps has won hundreds of awards in parades and competitions
throughout the Northeast since their re-organization in 1975.
Prospective members and/or parade committees should contact the
corps for additional information.
